How to Screenshot on Mac [ Three ways]

If your wanted to take screenshots on your Mac, then you will need to know three shortcuts on keyboard .


1. Capturing the Entire Screen

     In All macOS versions

    Press Shift-Command-3

    To capture the screen of Entire Screen.
    Screenshot will be saved on the Desktop.


2. Capturing a Window

    In all macOS versions

    Press Shift-Command-4.

    Press the Space bar. The pointer will change to camera.
    Click on window to capture.
    If you don't want to include Windows's shadow in screenshot then Press and Hold the option and        then click.
    Screenshot will be saved on the Desktop.


3. Capturing Selected Portion of Screen

    In all macOS versions

    Press : Shift-Command-5 or Shift-Command-4

    Drag cursor to select the area of the screen to capture. To move the entire selection, press and
    hold Space bar while dragging.
    Screenshot will be saved on the Desktop.
