Vivo on Tuesday launched the Vivo V5 Plus IPL Limited Edition model, The smartphone will be available from April 10 via Flipkart, retail
stores, and Vivo-exclusive stores. Pricing will be announced around the
same time.
The thing which makes Vivo V5 Plus IPL Limited Edition smartphone different from its regular Vivo V5 Plus counterpart is It sports a new colour variant (Matte Black) and bears the IPL logo engraved on the rear panel.
The matte black limited edition of the V5 Plus has the same hardware specs as the phone's standard gold variant. The V5 Plus was originally launched at a price of Rs 27,980 in January.

Its biggest highlight is its dual front camera. It sports a 20-megapixel camera with the Sony IMX376 1/2.78-inch sensor, an f/2.0 aperture, and a 5P lens system, while it also sports a 8-megapixel camera. On the rear camera, Vivo V5 Plus bears a 16-megapixel sensor with LED flash.
The phone comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS LCD display and is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. Expandable storage isn't supported. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Funtouch OS 3.0 and supports 4G LTE (VoLTE-ready). The V5 Plus is backed by a 3055mAh battery and also supports fast charging.
